"Everyone should have respect for the law, and be respected by the law." That is Hillary talking about the riots in Milwaukee. She wants to portray herself as a strong supporter of law enforcement, because her proponent, President Obama, has engendered a lot of anger from the men in blue because he nearly always relates inner city unrest, violence, and anger to police abuse of power. There is an obvious flaw to her reasoning though: Her point is well taken, but there is one side of the equation missing. In the inner cities suffering from rioting against the police, there is no respect for law. The videos on the nightly news are indisputable. Police are facing assaults with rocks, bottles, gasoline, guns, and even slingshots. On the street interviews and arm-in-arm marching 'Black Lives Matter' groups recite inflammatory, and racist death threats against any authority. It is not the cops that are rampaging through neighborhoods and burning down businesses, beating down innocent bystanders and intimidating peaceful inhabitants. In every instance of a young black man getting shot, there is at least some question about the justification. It is not like the cops are carrying out vigilante assaults on kids walking to school. The fact that she feels it necessary to throw out a straw man excuse for rioters is illustrative of her pandering to the unhappy minority population, reaching out right past the peaceful members of the inner cities and implying that all Americans are culpable in the abusive acts of the 'white' police. In Milwaukee, nobody is mentioning the fact that the officer involved in the shooting was black, which disproves the oft repeated claim that 'white cops' are perpetrator racial genocide on the black community. The point is, if the Democratic community leadership isn't willing to put the onus on the rioters, there is no hope that peace and justice can ever be achieved. The obvious conclusion is Don Hillary and her Democrat Family don't really want anything to change. The status quo of anger and unrest is the fertilizer for further expansion of Democratic control of degenerating inner cities. |
