I wrote back in late April ( www.turnrightatlost.weebly.com/archive) about the possibility that the mysterious dissapearence of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 may have been 'Googled.' I was reacting to a story about how Google is now capable of using GPS systems to drive automobiles. I theorized that if they can do that, why can't some genius terrorist figure out a way to cyber-hijack a commercial jetliner?
Today I read about a cyber security expert who has found ways to hack into some cockpit software systems by starting with inflight entertainment systems and then taking command of the cockpit system via the airplanes internal WIFI.
This article confirms my thread that terrorists will soon be utilizing computer crime technologies to further their goals of destroying western civilization. The 'new normal' of terrorist warfare is going to be increasingly fought in cyberspace, not on the ground.
